Something a bit different for a bit of fun

lyrics

We no longer believe in Santa Claus.
We no longer believe in the tooth fairy, Jack Frost or the bogeyman.
We no longer believe that the stork brings babies or shooting stars bring wishes,
And We no longer believe that humanity will triumph in the end.
We no longer believe that walking under ladders, breaking mirrors or putting new shoes on the table brings bad luck,
And We no longer believe touching wood, throwing salt or crossing your fingers can ward it off.
And We no longer believe in the brotherhood of man.

We do not believe that America has a government for, by and of the people,
Nor do we believe that France is free, equal and fraternal.
We do not believe that technology will save us in the end and We do not believe that Jesus died for our sins.
We do not believe in trickle-down economics or that capitalism can feed world.
We do not believe in any third way or that socialism can survive the selfishness of the individual.
We do not believe that we stand united or that a common threat will lead to a common cause.

We do not believe in grass roots organisations, or in the concept of corporate social responsibility. We do not believe the internet will remain a force for good or that we won't look back in 20 years and wonder where it went wrong.
We do not hate the world but we no longer believe it is worth saving.
We do not believe in the mechanisms of democratic change and the illusion of choice.
We do not believe it is possible to fix our fundamental social problems by doubling down on what has failed before,
And We no longer believe that the revolution will be bloodless.

We do not believe that love is all you need Or that this train carries lost souls.
We do not believe the times are changing or that we are on the verge of a new world order.
We do not believe that wearing sunscreen will make a difference and We no longer believe that music can ever substitute for tears.
