A Prologue 03:50
There's a dead man in the back seat, but he's not my main concern. There's a dead man in the back seat, and a lesson for someone to learn. There's a dead man in the back seat, and there's a gap in my mind between where he and i meet, and the evidence you find. There's a natural explanation, there's some history hiding. I'm sure I can find some kind of truth if I just keep on driving. There's a dead man in the back seat, and we're running low on fuel. He and i are going to have to figure out exactly what we're going to do. See I'm not short on ideas but it's preying on my mind that, one way or another, we're running out of time. There's a natural explanation, there's some history hiding. I'm sure I can find some kind of truth if I just keep on driving. Someone's father? Someone's son. Some wrong punished or some wrong done? A straight road to the coast to dump a bag of bones? There's a dead man in the back seat, and only he and i know how this came to pass and how it's going to go. There's a natural explanation, there's some history hiding. I'm sure I can find some kind of truth if I just keep on driving.

Blood drips on stone And these borrowed bones and stolen skin They are not mine It's just a shape I'm sitting in These clumsy hands Are stained in wine or something more Pick broken glass From empty bottles on the floor This mess is mine I will clear it up This mess is mine I will make it good I will make it good I will make it right I will make it good I will make it This spreading stain Lays out a map across the floor In strange straight lines It builds on crimes that have bled before This mess is mine I will clear it up This mess is mine I will make it good I will make it good I will make it right I will make it good I will make it This ancient rock Is broken layer on layer Cold hungry thirst Takes fire and life and prayer These colours fading from my eyes From this stone and from this time We just pass through we don't remain Become stone on stone and stone again

300lb Brick 02:36
This is your only shot Untrained, unpractised and lost Don’t pull, squeeze the grip Prepare to handle the kick Take the wheel and the name Run through what you practiced in your head Set a course, find a chart 90% is looking the part Bolt the windows, lock the door Pull the desk away from the wall Curl up tight, don't show a thing You can't be found if you can't be seen

Goodnight 03:44
We've been driving in darkness, for hours now, and no-one's said a word A companionable silence, and a radio, and no thoughts left unheard You can see the coast-line, and the ocean, and a paler cloud showing white And all that's in the tank is goodnight You've been running down dead ends, and closed loops, you always end up here In all of this madness, and emptiness, you still can't see your way clear You're resting your head now, on my shoulder, it's just your brief respite And all that i have left is goodnight i've been burning the candle at both ends, and there's no middle left and it was never good enough but it was still my best and that candle stub is failing, and with it goes the light and all that remains is goodnight

about

Finally finished a couple of older tracks and shuffled them nervously into the light of day.
Free download, but if you'd like to offer something then £2 (or 50p per track) seems reasonable to me.
