The Storm Keep
02:57
|
|||
We buried the bibles at sundown
Settled some troubled ghosts
There's a time and a place for parting
And this is better than most
When the sun has fled from the white walls
And a wave has fallen from view
There's a castle, a gate and a high hill
You'll find you way through
You'll take the path less travelled
As the road signs disappear
Take a mark from the High Storm Keep
You'll find a better way from here
In time I went out of the valley
In further time it was gone
The sign you left on the storm keep
Kept us safe from harm
You'll take the path less travelled
As the road signs disappear
Take a mark from the High Storm Keep
You'll find a better way from here
In the flicker of years you'll remember
Your shoreline will surely come
There' a time and a place for parting
And a time for coming home
You'll take the path less travelled
As the road signs disappear
Take a mark from the High Storm Keep
You'll find a better way from here
Take a mark from the High Storm Keep
You'll find a better way from here

Ash and Rain
04:27

You will find Fire and Ice Wind and flame Ash and rain
You will find There is no respite In a tropical storm For a wounded plane.
Your needle is wandering off course
You've lost the reassuring voice
Your altitude is falling like a floating stone
You are searching for any route home
You will find Fire and Ice Wind and flame Ash and rain
You will find There is no respite For a broken masted Catamaran.
You will batten down the hatches
You will reef up the sails
You will turn head to wind
You will lash up the wheel
You will cut it free You will ride it out
You will cut it free You are running out
You will call up the canvas You will fill out the sail
And you are rolling down the wave front You are running with the gale
You will turn with the wind You are free
You will turn with the wind You are free
Running free
Running free
You will find Fire and Ice Wind and flame Ash and rain
You will find There is no respite in a tropical storm for a lost captain
You will find Fire and Ice Wind and flame Ash and rain
You will find Fire and Ice Wind and flame Ash and rain
You will find Ash and rain
You will find Ash and rain

Northshoremen
04:41
|
|||
Catching old tales, before the light goes dim. I saved a life today, with all the things I did
Watching old wars play out on the screens, sink at least a couple of beers before the good guys win.
I know that old tune, but I couldn't tell you what, what I know is a shorter list than what I forgot.
See the spray paint signs behind the parking lot, there stands a man I could have been but I am not.
Winter is coming in
And I see your shirt is wearing thin
These old songs, they don't sound like they did.
And there's a message there that was never clearer hid.
We are northshoremen
This is our brotherhood
We are northshoremen
The sea is in our blood
We are northshoremen
And we are not yet done.
We're tired of holding on
For a best that's yet to come
Winter is coming in, And I see your shirt is wearing thin.
Catching old tales, before the light goes dim. I saved a life today, with all the things I did
We are northshoremen
This is our brotherhood
We are northshoremen
The sea is in our blood
We are northshoremen
And we are not yet done.
We're tired of holding on
For a best that's yet to come
We are northshoremen, this is our brotherhood.
We are northshoremen, the sea is in our blood.
